The Certified Software Testing Manager (CSTM)® Certification establishes a worldwide standard for the assessment of the capabilities and competencies of software testing professionals that are working at, or soon will work at, the software testing management level. Acquiring the designation of CSTM® indicates a level of professional competence in both the principles and practices of software testing, demonstrating the skills and capabilities necessary to manage the software test function.
Exam Pattern
- The exam comprises of 100 Multiple Choice Questions out of which the candidate needs to score a percentage of 70% (70 out of 100) to pass the exam.
- Candidate can also opt for Certified Software Tester – Advanced Level (CSTAL) – Test Manager based on ISTQB Syllabus at the time of scheduling an exam.
The total duration of the exam is 1 hour 10 minutes (70 Minutes).
Note: The Certified Software Testing Manager (CSTM)® Certification has a pre-requisite (Completion of an E-Course is mandatory from GAQMBok portal) as maximum number of questions are drawn from the E-Course in the actual exam
Certification Validity
- The validity of the CSTM® Certifiate is for five (5) years, the candidate needs to either retake the exam or can complete the E-Course for CSTM® to accrue the number of continuing education units (CEUs) to renew the Certificate. Renewing the certificate will allow the candidate to retain the professional stature and credentials intact.
- Certificates must be renewed on or before the expiration date (when they become inactive) to be current.
